Avril Lavigne's new CD, The Best Damn Thing was released today. It did not get many good reviews.
The New York Times said: "As an album “The Best Damn Thing” is too relentless to be heard end to end. Its songs are expected to bring occasional jolts to a playlist."
The Boston Globe said: "The songs are furiously bouncy and unbelievably vapid."
And Slant Magazine said: "The Best Damn Thing is a big step back for an artist who was just starting to grow up."
Though if you look on iTunes, most of her fans really like the new album.
