Rosie O'Donnell has announced today that she will be leaving "The View". She said it is because ABC has been unable to come to a contractual agreement with her. Her duties on the show will end in mid-June due to this. Rosie said she wanted to stay on the show for one more year but ABC wanted three. She said she will appear though occasionally next season for things like a planned one-hour special on autism. Rosie said, "It just didn't work, and that's show biz. But it's not sad because I loved it here and I love you guys and I'm not going away." The show has gotten great ratings because of O'Donnell but her outspokenness has always caused continual controversy. Barbara Walters had this to say, "We have had, to say the least, an interesting year, this is not my doing or my choice." What is your take on this whole situation?
